What is the domain name for?
The domain name is your identification on the net. It's used to form your web site address(es)
and your email addresses. For example is your register domain name photonhost.com, your
web site address could be http://www.photonhost.com and you can have email addresses like
firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, etc.
What do .com, .net., .org mean?
These are so called top level domain names. Every domain name has such extention, so you should
choose one too. COM stands for commercial entities and is the most prestigeous extention.
